For the first time, the face of Chanel Nº 5 opens the door to her house on the East Coast of the United States. She tells us about her special rapport with nature and the emotion of fragrance.

An intimate conversation with Gisele Bündchen on this rather grey autumn day, Gisele is like a ray of sunshine. With her sensual, gravelly voice, she welcomes us into what she calls her “sanctuary”. A barn on the grounds of her home, nestled amongst the trees, where she goes to recharge her batteries, meditate and strum a few chords on her guitar. “It’s like a cabin in the woods,” she exclaims with a peal of laughter, before explaining more seriously, “beauty is all about being comfortable in your own skin. In this fast-paced world, it’s important to seek the love and peace within you. So you can then spread them around.”

Because Gisele Bündchen is generous, constantly looking out for the best interests of others, sharing the “home-made” cakes and treats she brings back from Brazil or Costa Rica, where she has a house set in the lush nature, and where she likes to spend time with her family. To see the many photos of her childhood, her sisters, her parents and her grandparents, you can sense just how important family is to her. “I left them when I was 14, with 50 dollars in my pocket, for a world that was totally foreign to me,” she reminisces. “It was hard at the beginning, my looks didn’t appeal at first, but my family always supported me. My father told me to put my strong character to work, and he was right.”

As shown in these soft, touching images, and her sincere and genuine words, emotions are never far removed from Gisele Bündchen. A fulfilled and accomplished woman and mother, she shares through this film “a serenity that comes from within.”
