CMA CGM announces rate restoration on Asia - Europe and Asia - Med trades

In a continued effort to provide its customers with the same reliable and efficient services to which they are accustomed, the CMA CGM Group has decided to restore freight rates in the Asia to North Europe and Asia to Mediterranean trades to a more sustainable level.

New rate increases will apply to all cargo and commodities moving westbound from Asia to the Mediterranean and North Europe, effective September 1st, 2009.

The increase quantum will be as follows: Asia - North Europe: + USD 200 per teu | Asia - Mediterranean - Black Sea – Adriatic: USD 200 per teu
